No “EVAH” is not a typo…I am from Massachusetts and that’s just how we talk!

National Rosé Day is observed on the second Saturday in June. What better way to celebrate than with a refreshing glass (or two) of Frosé (Frozen Rosé)? Seriously though, it doesn’t have to be National Rosé Day to enjoy this delectable frozen concoction! Heck, it doesn’t even need to be summer, although that helps!

Get ready…freeze a 750 ml bottle of Rosé in a sealed container or ice cube trays now! Freeze it the night before. Don’t freeze it in the bottle…jus’ sayin’

Pour rosé into a container and seal with a lid or pour into ice cube trays and freeze overnight

Make simple syrup: Dissolve 1/2 cup granulated sugar in 1/2 cup boiling water and cool. Store in refrigerator (I funnel into a clean empty vodka bottle with a bar pourer).

You will also need a couple pints of fresh strawberries and grenadine! (Strawberry ice cream; optional). Oh! And of course vodka!

This will get you ready to make the Frosé!

Nothing tastes more refreshing than drinks made with fresh fruit

Hull the strawberries and place about three cups in the blender. Top with simple syrup and sprinkle a little granulated sugar on top. Let them sit for 15 minutes.

Now let’s add the vodka, frozen rosé, grenadine and strawberry ice cream.

Blend on high until smooth!

Pour, garnish with a strawberry or two, sit back, relax and ENJOY!

I like to keep Frosé on hand all summer long! Make it in advance and store it in the freezer. It is always ready for unexpected company. Just add it to the blender and serve!
