Leftover Turkey Rangoons

Sick and tired of plain old turkey sandwiches? Here is the remedy. Turkey, cream cheese, sharp cheddar cheese, scallions and bacon enveloped within puff pastry.

Ingredients

  • 2 sheets Puff Pastry Thawed
  • 1 package Cream Cheese
  • 12 Slices Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 tbsp Scallions Chopped
  • 5 Slices Bacon Cooked and crumbled
  • Leftover Turkey Slices
  • Salt & Pepper to Taste
  • Sprinkle of Garlic Powder

Instructions

  • Thaw puff pastry per package instructions.
  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Layout puff pastry sheets. Cut each sheet into thirds.
  • On three of the six puff pastry sheets, add a thick layer of cream cheese, followed by scallions, layer of four slices of sharp cheddar per sliced sheet, top with a piece of turkey and sprinkle with crumbled bacon. Add salt, pepper and garlic powder. Top with the remaining three pieces of puff pastry.
  • Cut into four diagnol sections and squeeze each side closed. Make markings along the edge with a small fork.
  • Grease the baking sheet and place so they are not touching.
  • Bake for 15 minutes. Broil for a couple minutes to get a golden brown top.
  • Remove and let cool on baking sheet for five minutes. Move to a cooling rack. Serve warm.
