Chicken Broccoli and Ziti…No Wait…Rotini

Everyone is looking for a chicken broccoli and ziti recipe. How about making it more colorful and appealing with this creamy and delicious recipe using tri-colored rotini instead!

The main ingredients that attribute to the great taste are Knorr Homestyle Chicken Stock, Good Seasons Dry Italian Salad Dressing & Recipe mix, dry white wine, fresh grated Parmesan cheese and garlic to name a few. It is ready in less than a half hour!

You can really use any type of pasta. We made this again as Chicken Broccoli and Linguine.

Chicken Broccoli and Rotini

Are you looking for a chicken, broccoli and ziti recipe? How about this chicken, broccoli and rotini dish; it is delicious and creamy. The main ingredients that attribute to the great taste are Knorr Homestyle Chicken Stock, Good Seasons Dry Italian Salad Dressing & Recipe mix, dry white wine, fresh grated Parmesan cheese and garlic to name a few. It is ready in less than a half hour!

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 head Medium sized broccoli Florets
  • 4 cloves Fresh Garlic Chopped fine
  • 1 large Shallot Chopped fine
  • 2 large Boneless Chicken Breasts Cut into chunks
  • 12 oz Tri-colored Rotini
  • ⅓ cup All Purpose Flour
  • ⅓ cup Dry White Wine
  • ⅓ cup Whole Milk
  • 1 tub Knorr Homestyle Chicken Stock
  • ⅓ cup Liquid Chicken Stock
  • ½ cup Fresh Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • Salt & Pepper To taste

Instructions

  • Cube the chicken. Chop the shallots and garlic.
  • Pre boil salted water for blanching the broccoli and cooking the pasta
  • Blanch the Broccoli (i.e. place it in boiling salted water for 2 minutes). Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside. Do not get rid of water and keep it at a boil.
  • In a large sauté pan over medium high heat add olive oil to coat the pan, add the shallots with a pinch of salt. Add the garlic. Add the cubed chicken.
  • Add tri-colored rotini to boiling water and cook according to package instructions,
  • Continue cooking chicken mixture. Sprinkle the chicken with the flour to coat. Add the white wine. Cook approximately 8-10 minutes.
  • Add milk, Knorr Chicken Stock, liquid chicken stock and sprinkle generously with grated cheese (gradually add cheese as you go).
  • Add broccoli, sprinkle with more cheese and continue stirring. Add in butter and any remaining grated cheese.
  • Serve and enjoy!
