Water’s Edge Resort & Spa in Westbrook CT is situated on the shores with a view of Long Island Sound. Relaxation while listening to the ocean sounds on the private beach is just one of the things to love about this resort.

The lobby is nicely decorated and inviting to welcome you upon your arrival!

There is also a nice sitting area where you can relax while checking in or out.

If Starbucks is your thing, you can get your favorite cup of coffee.

There are also some delicious other items you can indulge in besides coffee at Starbucks in Water’s Edge.

If you forgot something or find yourself in need of some items, there is a small store off of the lobby. You can also purchase some souvenirs, including t-shirts and sweatshirts.

This is my FAVORITE spot on the grounds of Water’s Edge!

If hanging at the pool is your gig, this is the spot for you.

The views of the landscaped grounds are amazing.

Want to rent a kayak to get out on the water? You can do that too!

Dattilo Restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy breakfast or dinner. The views are fantastic!

You can also enjoy the Seaview Bistro at The Water’s Edge. There is a large bar and tables.

We just happened to have an Espresso martini or two.

We watched the US Open on a rainy day!

An outside of the resort breakfast place option that we recommend is Mirsina’s in Old Saybrook CT. it is a short drive and well worth the trip.

A must visit for dinner is Café Routier which is right down the road.

Mom’s Meatloaf

Pan Roasted Half Chicken

Profiteroles for Dessert!

Shopping at The Westbrook Outlets!

You can also enjoy an excursion to the Connecticut River Museum

Back to the grounds at Water’s Edge Resort & Spa

Having some rum punch at The Sunset Bar & Grill on the grounds at Water’s Edge.

The view from The Sunset Bar & Grill

This was our second stay at Water’s Edge Resort & Spa. We will definitely be back again for some relaxation on the beach while enjoying the views of Long Island Sound.
